Access to Work
Access to Work (AtW) provides practical advice and support to disabled people and their employers to help overcome work related obstacles resulting from disability. As well as giving advice and information to disabled people and employers, AtW pays a grant, through the Jobcentre Plus, towards any extra employment costs which result from disability.
Department for Education and Employment (DfEE)
The site has information relating to disability, the DDA and employment. It includes a search facility to find documents relating to a particular topic and a site index that enables you to find out about publications relating to associated Government legislation, and to view summaries and guides to some of these.

First Step Trust
First Step Trust (FST) offers people with enduring mental health problems, learning disabilities and other disadvantages the chance to work; experiencing the challenges of working in a small business, trading with the local community.
Inclusive Living Sheffield
A not-for-profit organisation run by disabled people living in Sheffield. We have direct experience of the many different types of disabling barriers which people can face. We work in partnership with public bodies, private sector employers and the voluntary sector to help improve the lives of disabled people. Over 10% of Sheffield's population is disabled - more than you'd think! We have a vision of a society where everyone is included so we can all benefit from, and contribute to, the success of our city.
Jobnet
This is a publicly funded service for 16 - 60 year olds living in Sheffield. Jobnet is for everyone seeking work but gives priority to those without work and those in temporary and part time work. To comply with funding regulations you will be asked for ID at your first appointment. If your local Jobnet office does not have suitable facilities other arrangements will be made to assist you.

JOBMatch is a specialist service unique to South Yorkshire that works as an Integral part of the four local Investment Agencies and Renaissance South Yorkshire.

Paces provides Conductive Education for Children with Cerebral Palsy.
Prospects
Prospects in Sheffield offers support to people with autism and Asperger syndrome who have a job or who want to work. We also offer some support to students in the South Yorkshire area.
