Quotes from Employers and Employees.

“ What we wanted to achieve through running this session for staff and volunteers was twofold. Firstly, to increase understanding of what our disabled customers may require during their visit to Magna and how to best respond to these requirements. Secondly, to ensure that ‘buddies (those who are mentoring new volunteers) – have the skills and confidence to work with disabled volunteers."

Feedback from participants was extremely positive with the overall consensus of opinion that their perception of ‘disability’ had widened and as one said “ disability is so much more than people in wheelchairs and guide dogs – the hidden disabilities that we can’t see like manic depression for example.”

"Both the length and content were exactly right for our organisation and through Jacquie's involvement the session was – as a member of staff put it – “much more personal”.

“Length and content relevant to audience“.
